Benefits of Yoga


Everyone is conscious of their weight these days. It all started a few years back, when we were beginning to have these health issues and everyone became obsessed with workouts and going to the gym. It was the same with me. I started with a regular workout session both in the morning and evening. It became a routine every day, but I had no satisfaction as it seemed very monotonous.

That was when I thought I should try out Yoga. Everyone around me was raving about the benefits of Yoga and how it works wonders with the body and the mind? So I wanted to try it out and see if it was true.

As simple as this decision sounds, I had some changes to make when I decided to make this a routine. To truly rake in the benefits of Yoga, one has to have a good Yoga Guru. Having the right attitude and interest is another important characteristic. So with much research I decided to take a vacation at a Yoga retreat resort. I thought that with this vacation I could make out if Yoga was my cup of tea.

The vacation was truly an eye-opener. I learned the basics and unique asanas as well. Do Yoga thrice a week and your all set to have a great shape and be in good health. The retreat resort was also spectacular with good amenities and was located near the beach front. This was one of the best vacations I have ever had. It contributed to both my physical and spiritual well-being!!
